Adams) is found only on gorgonian coral, which lives in the water at about six feet and below, so the only way you can find it is by snorkeling. After finding a suitable coral and it does not have to be a large piece, inspect it very carefully for odd lumps, and touch them lightly. The mantle of this shell is so identical in color to the coral itself, which is a bright orange with a red fleck, that it is almost impossible to see the shell until it moves its mantle. If this lump moves, you know you now have a new specimen to add to your collection, You can find other species of this family on this same type of coral. One other type I have found is the Primovula coarctata."
