Home decorHome decor I have an item of considerable interest to report on. Cypraea aurantium has been collected live here on Guam and both finds have been verified as true. I first saw Mr. Elbo's shell three days after he had found it and it was still in the rotting out stage. Mr. Joe Campbell of the Marianas Divers saw the second one that was found with the animal still in the shell. Dead specimens have been found here before but as far as I can find out these are the first live ones. Home decorHome decor Suddenly, straight down, a Tiger materialized beside a small head of coral. It is dramatic the way these shells appear as by magic. A second before it wasn't there and then it was. I did not take my eyes off the shell for an instant. This was not the time to come up for a breath of air. I released my fishing spear which serves secondarily as a shell marker. When it struck bottom, not far from the Tiger, I immediately estimated the relationship of spear and shell as to distance and direction. Now it was time to come up for some air.
