Instead of Baja California, their diving locations were the west coast of Mexico from Mazatlán to south of Puerto Vallarta. The swell hitting the steep beach keeps everything churned up and you can't see your hand in front of your face in the water. We got beach specimens of a small Dentalium and a Crucibulum at the high tide mark and the usual assortment of intertidal rock shells on shale outcroppings.
