Shell philippine bracelet Cypraea martini Schepman, 1907, was found in New Caledonia for the first time in February, 1973, writes HMS member Abel Lo of Noumea. "From that date on, many specimens have been collected. amongst them melanistic and rostrate shells. A unique C. martini, being both melanistic and rostrate, was found by my friend Andre Fouache last October at the Bay of Prony, near the southern end of New Caledonia. It measured 23mm." Lo sent this photo to illustrate. Shell philippine bracelet
