I found no Cypraea at Guinea Bissau (the former Portuguese Guinea). There are absolutely no C. zonaria in the Cape Verde Islands, despite what it says in some books. I have been snorkeling and diving on all the productive islands there several times, both summer and winter, and I have never seen any Cypraea except C. picta, C. spurca and C. lurida.
