Wholesale progression On one day we hired a boat to take us to two islands on the west side of the group. The narrow channel between Pulau Singa and Pulau Bras Pasar is about thirty feet deep with sand beaches on both shores. A coral reef reaches to the bottom of the beach and is exposed at low tide. The coral is mostly staghorn, with some slabs suitable for turning. We got several small Conus textile Linné with rather pale markings and three Conus terebra Born, the first we have collected. We got a number of other cones which we have not yet identified. Wholesale progression
Wholesale progression Recently we reported the find by Tom Richert of some unusual bivalves. They were dredged from over 1,000 feet off Keehi. The shells have still not been identified. See illustration below [omitted]. Wholesale progression
